Ever since the early days of IRC, I’ve been obsessed with online communications. This later evolves to include digital marketing. Here is my story.

Online communications have been my passion ever since I started managing online communities 20 years ago. This passion grew into a career that has given me the opportunity to excel in different industries such as automobile, government, health,  advertising, radio, television, and higher education. Working in these industries has allowed me to learn valuable lessons from each and also broaden my scope and vision.

My work in social media management for television has been recognized and awarded the Latin Social TV Award for Best Connected Show (Idol Puerto Rico 2012). My previous work for the auto industry was recognized by a market study which named Honda of Puerto Rico one of the Top 5 most recognized brands by locals in social media within a year of opening its social media profiles. I have worn many different hats throughout my career in digital from webmaster, web designer, digital media buyer, content producer to name a few. Experience in these roles allows me to communicate with programmers, designers, analysts, account executives in their own “language”.

As the former President of the local chapter of the Social Media Club and as an Internet Marketing Professor, I stay current on all digital/social media trends and industry happenings. I am a highly creative individual who will find ways to delight and entice different types of online communities to come back for more and engage in social media initiatives.
